Co-Founder & Operations Manager, Specialist Drone Services Tanzania
Emmanuel is an agronomist with a passion for combining agriculture and technology. He holds a BSc in Agronomy from Sokoine University of Agriculture and is a certified UAV operator through several top institutions, including the African Drone and Data Academy, AUVSI, DJI, and the Civil Aviation Training Centre. With over nine years of experience, Emmanuel has built expertise in using drones for precision agriculture, handling everything from spraying and spreading to crop health monitoring, pest management, and plant population analysis. His work also extends to soil and topographical surveys, search and rescue missions, gas leak detection, pipeline and infrastructure inspections, and wildlife monitoring and habitat mapping.
Co-Founder
Keven has been interested and flying drones since DJI launched their 1st Drone, The Phantom 1 in 2013. He founded the Tanzanian Drone Club in 2016 which at the time had 81 active members. He qualified as a commercial drone pilot in 2017 & has over 1740 flying hours on most of the DJI recreational drones they released. In 2020 he Co-Founded Specialist Drone Services in Tanzania & is actively involved in developing & growing the company.
Managing Director
He hold Bachelor degree in Commerce & Management (B-Com Accounting) and MBA from University of Dar es Salaam. He holds CAP (T) and has more than 19 years of accounting practice experience. He has worked together with Keven Stander for over 13 years
UAV Pilot & Creative Director
Dismas Mutua is a licensed UAV pilot and creative director with a strong background in digital marketing and information technology. He specializes in creating powerful visual narratives that showcase expertise in precision agriculture, LiDAR mapping, and drone technology across East Africa. Dismas brings together technical proficiency, marketing strategy, and aerial cinematography to produce content that drives engagement and brand growth. His work transforms complex drone operations into clear, captivating stories that highlight innovation, precision, and impact, strengthening Specialist Drone Services’ brand presence and visual communication across digital platforms.
